2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Launched in India with MotoGP-Inspired Upgrades at Rs. 28.99 Lakh

Honda has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship sportbike, the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, in India. Priced at Rs. 28.99 lakh ex-showroom, this model is about Rs. 2.23 lakh more expensive than its predecessor and comes with updated bodywork and revised hardware inspired by Honda’s MotoGP experience. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP retains the same powerful 999cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 214.5 bhp at 14,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 12,000 rpm. It features a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust as standard.

The bike's aerodynamic package has been enhanced with new winglets integrated into the fairing to improve downforce at high speeds. On the suspension front, the sportbike is equipped with electronically adjustable Ohlins USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking is managed by Brembo discs with twin 330mm rotors at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. The comprehensive electronics suite includes multiple power modes, traction control levels, engine brake control, wheelie control, ABS, and a five-inch TFT screen for monitoring.
