Hero MotoCorp recently showcased the updated 2026 Hero Xtreme 125R at a dealer event, teasing exciting new features and a fresh design ahead of its official launch in India. The sporty commuter motorcycle now sports a striking red-and-black paint scheme with graphics inspired by the Hero Xtreme 250R, giving it an aggressive and youthful appeal. The new model introduces bar-end mirrors, a slightly taller handlebar, and a revised dual-tone fuel tank prominently featuring the bold ‘Xtreme’ logo. One of the standout updates on the feature front is the introduction of a full-colour LCD screen equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, enhancing the rider’s experience significantly.
Additionally, Hero has added cruise control, a first-in-segment feature for a 125cc motorcycle, promising greater convenience on longer rides. Mechanically, the 2026 Xtreme 125R retains its 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 11.4bhp and 10.5Nm of torque, coupled to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension setup with telescopic front forks and rear monoshock remains unchanged, as does the braking system with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. With these updates, the 2026 Hero Xtreme 125R aims to strengthen its position in the competitive 125cc segment, targeting rivals like the TVS Raider 125 and Honda CB125 Hornet.
An official launch in India is expected in the coming weeks.
