2026 Kawasaki Ninja 125 and Z125 Get Striking New Colours, Retain Proven Mechanical Package
BikeRaja News · 19 September 2025
Kawasaki has revealed the latest versions of its entry-level sportbikes, the Ninja 125 and Z125, for 2026 in international markets. Distinctive for their fresh new liveries, both motorcycles maintain the sharp, aggressive styling inspired by their larger siblings, giving beginner riders the feel of premium supersport and streetfighter machines. Mechanically, both models remain unchanged. At the heart of these bikes is a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 15bhp at 10,000rpm and 11.7Nm of torque at 7,700rpm.
This powerplant is paired with a lightweight tubular steel diamond-type frame, 37mm telescopic forks, a rear monoshock, and 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes at both ends. Weighing under 150kg and featuring a low seat height of just 785mm, the Ninja 125 and Z125 continue to be accessible, confidence-inspiring options for A1 licence holders and new riders. Both models also retain practical features such as a fully-digital instrument cluster, ABS, and Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system, allowing some customisation of riding ergonomics. The new 2026 versions focus on revitalizing visual appeal while holding on to the proven formula that has made these “baby Kawasakis” such popular choices among entry-level riders.
