Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Versys-X 300, priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. While the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged, it receives a fresh dual-tone color option combining Candy Lime Green and Metallic Flat Spark Black, alongside existing colors. The update keeps the popular adventure bike stylish and relevant in the competitive segment. The Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine delivering 39 horsepower and 26 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smooth shifting.
Its chassis is built around a rugged backbone frame designed to absorb shocks and support luggage and passengers, making it a capable companion for urban rides and light off-roading. Suspension duties are managed by a 41mm telescopic fork with 130mm travel at the front and a Uni-Trak monoshock with 148mm travel at the rear, providing comfort on diverse road conditions. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires, offering enhanced off-road capability. Safety features include single disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, ensuring reliable stopping power.
The Versys-X 300's instrumentation combines a large analog tachometer with a multifunction digital display showing gear position, fuel level, and trip data. Its adventure-ready design includes a tall windshield, wide handlebar, spacious seat, and rear carrier with built-in hooks for easy luggage attachment, enhancing touring comfort and practicality. Kawasaki continues to position the Versys-X 300 as an accessible entry into adventure touring, blending manageable size, solid performance, and rugged styling for riders eager to explore both city streets and off-the-beaten path.
