2026 Kawasaki Z900 Arrives: Lower Price, More Power

Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Z900 in India with a price tag of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs. 19,000 more affordable than the previous model. The Z900 remains a popular choice among enthusiasts seeking a powerful yet refined big bike experience. For 2026, the Z900 brings two new colour options: Candy Lime Green/Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Flat Spark. The motorcycle offers a slight improvement in performance with an output of 123.6 bhp and 98.6 Nm, increasing by 1.6 bhp and 1.2 Nm respectively over last year.

The kerb weight has also reduced by 1kg, now at 212kg. Under the bodywork, the Z900 continues to feature the renowned 948cc inline-four engine, delivering smooth acceleration and a sporty soundtrack. Last year’s updates, such as revised cam profiles for enhanced low-end torque, remain. Riders benefit from advanced features such as ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, a bi-directional quick shifter, IMU-assisted cornering traction control, cornering ABS, and a crisp five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity.

Improvements to the tyres and braking setup from last year are also carried over. The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 reinforces its position as a balanced and technologically advanced streetfighter, now offering better value for Indian riders by combining premium features with a new, lower price.
