BMW G310RR Teased: Refreshed Entry-Level Supersport Set for Indian Launch

BMW Motorrad has sparked excitement in the entry-level supersport segment by teasing the launch of the updated G310RR. This highly-anticipated model is set to make waves with fresh design elements, enhanced features, and BMW’s time-tested engineering, all while catering to the growing demand for accessible yet thrilling sportbikes in India. The new BMW G310RR, built around a 312.12cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivers 34 PS at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox for engaging performance and smooth power delivery. With a top speed of 160 kmph and a kerb weight of 174 kg, the G310RR promises agile handling and sporty acceleration, making it a strong contender in its class.

Riders will find four selectable riding modes—Sport, Track, Urban, and Rain—enabling confident control in varying riding conditions. Standout features include dual-channel ABS, a fully digital TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, anti-hopping clutch, LED headlights and tail lamps, and a split-seat setup. The bike’s sharp, aerodynamic styling draws inspiration from larger supersports, while its premium build quality ensures lasting appeal. The G310RR is expected to arrive in both Standard and Style Sport trims, each offering unique graphics and finishes.

With rivals like the TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 300 in its sights, the forthcoming G310RR launch is poised to strengthen BMW’s hold in the competitive affordable supersport market.
