BMW to Unveil F 450 GS Adventure Bike at India Bike Week 2025

BMW Motorrad is gearing up to make a strong statement at India Bike Week (IBW) 2025, as reports suggest the highly anticipated BMW F 450 GS could make its debut at the event. This model is expected to become the brand’s new entry point into the premium adventure motorcycle lineup, sitting below the larger F 750 GS and F 850 GS. The BMW F 450 GS will likely share its platform with the upcoming TVS-BMW co-developed motorcycle, emphasizing lightweight agility and off-road readiness. Powering the bike could be a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine tuned for a balance of power and efficiency.

Early expectations hint at class-leading performance figures and characteristic BMW refinement. In terms of design, the F 450 GS is anticipated to feature a rugged adventure-oriented look, complete with a tall stance, dual-purpose tyres, long-travel suspension, and LED lighting. A fully digital TFT screen, multiple ride modes, and switchable ABS may enhance its touring and off-road credentials. If launched in India, pricing could be aggressive due to local manufacturing, aiming to rival the KTM 390 Adventure, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
