Honda NX500 2026 Unveiled at EICMA with E-Clutch and Fresh Colours

Honda has taken the wraps off the updated NX500 2026 at EICMA 2025, revealing striking new colour options and the introduction of a segment-first E-Clutch technology for added riding convenience. The E-Clutch allows riders to start, stop, upshift, and downshift using only the foot lever, making gear changes effortless even in congested city traffic or during long touring sessions. Traditional clutch lever control remains available for those who prefer manual feedback, with the electronics blending clutch actuation, fuelling, and ignition for smooth, intuitive shifts. The NX500 retains its robust 471cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 47.5 bhp and 43 Nm of torque, backed by updated ECU maps for improved response through the low and mid-range.

The adventure bike promises up to 500 km on a full tank thanks to a 17.5-litre fuel capacity and efficient Euro5+ compliance. Comfort and control are further enhanced by Showa SFF-BP front suspension, Pro-Link rear shock, 19/17-inch alloy wheels, and a slim mid-section with an 830 mm seat height that welcomes a wide range of riders. Packed with modern features, the NX500 offers a five-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via Honda RoadSync, allowing riders to access calls, music, and navigation on the go. Backlit switchgear and a four-way toggle ensure ease of use in poor lighting.

With its upright ergonomics, generous range, practical new colours, and industry-leading E-Clutch, the NX500 2026 sets a new benchmark in accessible adventure-touring motorcycles.
