Kawasaki has introduced a new special edition of the Eliminator 400 cruiser for the Japanese market, dubbed the 'Plaza Edition.' This new iteration brings both visual enhancements and functional upgrades, further bolstering the Eliminator’s appeal in the mid-capacity cruiser segment. Eye-Catching Design and New Features The Eliminator 400 Special Edition stands out with a unique maroon and black paint scheme, setting it apart from the standard black variant seen in other markets. Kawasaki has added a USB-C charging socket on the handlebar, catering to modern connectivity needs. One of the most notable upgrades is a GPS-enabled dual camera system, enabling riders to record their journeys—a feature rarely offered by original equipment manufacturers.
Engine and Hardware Power comes from a 451cc parallel-twin engine delivering 44.7 bhp and 42.6 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. True to its sporty character, the engine is free-revving and spirited—distinct from the traditional low-end torque-biased cruiser engines. The Eliminator’s hardware setup includes a lightweight trellis frame with telescopic front forks, twin rear shocks, and disc brakes (310mm front, 240mm rear) with standard ABS. Feature-Rich Ride Beyond its new tech additions, the Eliminator 400 comes equipped with LED lighting, traction control, multiple ride modes, turn-by-turn navigation, and a fully digital instrument cluster—making it a modern cruiser with a comprehensive feature list.
While the special edition currently targets the Japanese market with its exclusive colorway and upgrades, the Eliminator remains Kawasaki’s only cruiser offering in India, where additional color options could further boost its appeal.
