Odysse Hawk Review – Features, Performance, and Design

Odysse Hawk Full specifications and price: Odysse Hawk Odysse Hawk: A Budget-Friendly Commuter with a Twist In the Indian motorcycle market, there's no shortage of options for commuters. From budget-friendly scooters to feature-packed motorcycles, there's something for everyone. Odysse, a relatively new player in the market, has been making waves with its innovative designs and affordable pricing. The Odysse Hawk is one such model that has caught our attention, and we're excited to share our findings with you.

Design and Comfort At first glance, the Odysse Hawk looks like a conventional commuter motorcycle. However, upon closer inspection, you'll notice the subtle design cues that set it apart from its competitors. The Hawk's fuel tank is sleek and angular, with a distinctive crease running across the middle. The seat is long and comfortable, with a low seat height of 830 mm, making it accessible to riders of all sizes.

The ergonomics of the Hawk are well-sorted, with a relaxed riding position that puts the rider at ease. The handlebars are wide and upright, providing excellent control and leverage. The footpegs are positioned slightly rearward, giving the rider a comfortable leg stretch. While the Hawk may not be the most stylish motorcycle on the market, its design is functional and practical, making it an excellent choice for daily commutes.

Engine and Performance The Odysse Hawk is powered by a humble 85.00 cc engine that produces 1.90 PS of power and 44.00 Nm of torque. While these numbers may not set the world ablaze, they're more than sufficient for the Hawk's intended purpose – effortless commuting in heavy city traffic. The engine is smooth and refined, with a linear power delivery that makes it easy to navigate through congested streets. The Hawk's top speed of 45 km/h may not be the highest, but it's more than enough for city riding.

What's impressive, however, is the Hawk's mileage – a claimed 100.00 kmpl is nothing short of remarkable, making it an excellent choice for those who prioritize fuel efficiency. Features and Technology While the Odysse Hawk may not be a tech-laden motorcycle, it has a few surprises up its sleeve. The most notable feature is the inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity, which is a rare sight in this segment. The Hawk also gets a digital instrument cluster that displays essential information such as speed, fuel level, and odometer readings.

Unfortunately, the Hawk misses out on essential safety features like ABS, which is a disappointment. Additionally, the absence of a quick shifter and slipper clutch means that riders will need to rely on their skills to navigate heavy traffic. Riding Experience Our time with the Odysse Hawk was spent navigating the chaotic streets of Mumbai, and we were impressed by its capability to handle the rigors of city riding. The motorcycle feels light and agile, making it easy to weave through traffic.

The suspension is well-tuned, soaking up bumps and potholes with ease. The Hawk's engine is happy to rev, but it's not necessary to do so. The power delivery is smooth and linear, making it easy to ride in heavy traffic. The only time we felt the Hawk struggling was when tackling steep inclines, where the engine labored to keep pace.

Price and Competition The Odysse Hawk is priced competitively, with an on-road price of around ₹60,000-₹70,000. In this segment, the Hawk competes with the likes of the Hero HF Deluxe, Honda CD 110 Dream, and the TVS Radeon. While the Hawk may not have the same brand recognition as its competitors, it offers a unique blend of fuel efficiency, comfort, and features that set it apart from the crowd. Verdict The Odysse Hawk is a commuter motorcycle that defies expectations.

Its unique design, comfortable ride, and impressive mileage make it an attractive proposition for those looking for a reliable daily ride. While it may lack certain features and safety elements, its affordable pricing and innovative design make it a compelling choice. If you're in the market for a budget-friendly commuter that's easy to ride and maintain, the Odysse Hawk is definitely worth considering. Learn more about the Odysse Hawk: [
