Triumph Bonneville 350 Set for India Launch in 2026
Deepak Kumar · 25 September 2025
Triumph is preparing to introduce the eagerly awaited Bonneville 350 in India, with the official launch expected around June 2026. This move signals Triumph’s focused push into India’s midsize retro motorcycle segment, long dominated by the Royal Enfield Classic 350. New 350cc Engine to Challenge Classic 350 Responding to recent changes in India’s GST slabs, Triumph will equip the made-in-India Bonneville with a new 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motorcycle has been designed to rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350 both in character and expected pricing.
By opting for a smaller bore with a retained stroke compared to its existing 400cc engine, the Bonneville 350 promises enhanced low and mid-range torque delivery—well-suited to the modern-retro style and urban riding. Classic Looks, Modern Engineering: Triumph's Made-in-India Bonneville Staying true to the timeless Bonneville lineage, the new model is expected to feature a large fuel tank, prominent side panels, a ribbed flat seat, and bold fenders for increased visual appeal. Triumph is likely addressing previous feedback about the size and “visual bulk” of its 400cc models by giving the Bonneville 350 a more substantial, old-school presence. Wire-spoke wheels—possibly the tubeless cross-spoke variety—are anticipated, along with chrome highlights and vibrant paint options.
Triumph Targets Retro Segment with Bonneville 350 Apart from its fresh styling, Triumph is set to use a reworked rear sub-frame and possibly a longer swingarm to further boost the bike’s classic proportions. These updates are aimed at catering to buyers seeking the visual command and nostalgia that the Classic 350 currently delivers. Can Triumph's 350 Take On Royal Enfield? With its strong brand recall and competitive product strategy, the Triumph Bonneville 350 is positioned as a formidable challenger to the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
Triumph’s new entrant will try to make a mark on India’s retro segment, and the real test will commence once this motorcycle arrives on Indian roads in mid-2026 and faces its rivals head-on.
