Triumph Developing New Street Triple RX and Moto2 Editions for 2025
BikeRaja News · 8 October 2025
Triumph Motorcycles is reportedly preparing two new variants of its popular Street Triple — the RX Edition and an updated Moto2 Edition — aimed at enhancing the bike’s sporty DNA and track appeal. These new editions are expected to expand the Street Triple lineup, which already includes the R, RS, and the current Moto2 limited-edition models. The Street Triple RX is likely to focus on a sharper, racier design and performance tweaks, reminiscent of the older Daytona-inspired RX variant Triumph offered years ago. Leaked design filings and early reports suggest updates such as lightweight bodywork, a quickshifter, sportier ergonomics, and premium suspension components to offer a more aggressive riding experience.
Meanwhile, the Moto2 Edition could arrive as a refreshed or more track-focused successor to Triumph’s existing Moto2 model, which already boasts top-spec Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, and a 765cc triple engine derived directly from Moto2 racing machines. The upcoming version may feature unique liveries, reworked electronics, and minor engine refinements for improved performance on the track. If launched, both variants would strengthen Triumph’s middleweight performance portfolio and further bridge the gap between road-going Street Triples and Triumph’s Moto2 racing machines. More details are expected in the coming months, possibly aligning with Triumph’s 2025 lineup announcements.
