TVS Motor Company has officially launched the Apache RTX in India at a starting price of ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new performance motorcycle introduces TVS’s latest RT-XD4 engine, marking a significant evolution in the Apache lineup. Powering the Apache RTX is the newly developed RT-XD4 engine, designed for enhanced performance and refined power delivery. TVS claims this updated motor offers superior throttle response, higher torque in mid-range RPMs, and optimized fuel efficiency.
The engine also benefits from advanced cooling technology and a new exhaust system tuned for a sharper sound profile. In terms of design, the Apache RTX carries a muscular stance inspired by track racing dynamics. It features an aggressive LED headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, and signature split-seat setup. The bike’s instrument cluster is a fully digital, connected display that supports TVS SmartXonnect for navigation, call alerts, and performance data logging.
Hardware highlights include upside-down front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, and dual-channel ABS for confident handling. TVS has also fitted new radial tyres for improved grip and cornering stability. The Apache RTX is expected to compete with models like the Yamaha MT-15, Bajaj Pulsar N250, and KTM Duke 200, offering a compelling blend of style, performance, and affordability.
