TVS Motor Company Unveils Rann of Kutch-Inspired Custom Motorcycles at Rann Utsav 2026

For the second consecutive year, TVS Motor Company has partnered with Gujarat Tourism to celebrate the spirit and culture of the Rann of Kutch. At the ongoing Rann Utsav 2026, the company unveiled a striking lineup of handcrafted custom motorcycles inspired by the breathtaking white salt desert and vibrant artistic heritage of Kutch. These motorcycles are currently conceptual showcases, created to highlight design creativity and craftsmanship. TVS has clarified that there are no production plans for these editions at this stage, and mechanically, all the motorcycles remain identical to their standard showroom counterparts.

The special range includes four popular models from the TVS portfolio — TVS Apache RR 310, TVS Apache RTR 310, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and TVS Ronin. The focus across these motorcycles is entirely on aesthetics rather than performance upgrades. Each model features intricately hand-painted body panels that draw inspiration from the shimmering white salt flats and dramatic twilight skies of the Rann. The colour palettes subtly blend earthy desert tones with bright, reflective whites to mirror the region’s natural beauty.

To distinguish these special editions from regular models, TVS has incorporated bespoke laser-cut stainless-steel ‘ROK’ (Rann of Kutch) badges on the fuel tanks. The detailing does not stop there — all four motorcycles receive custom handcrafted seats inspired by traditional Kutchi artistry, incorporating textures, patterns and stitching styles that reflect the local craft culture. The overall execution gives the bikes a premium, gallery-like appeal rather than a typical limited-edition treatment. In addition to the art-focused editions, TVS also showcased a separately modified Ronin under the theme “Unscripted Exploration.” Unlike the other display bikes, this version receives functional modifications alongside design enhancements.

It is equipped with dual-purpose tyres for better versatility, a custom front mudguard, and a reinforced rear rack engineered to support luggage systems, suggesting light adventure-touring capability. Visually, the exploration-themed Ronin stands out with Ajrak-inspired motifs, camel-toned hand-stitched detailing, and a distinctive gradient paint finish that transitions from sky blue to salt white — symbolising the horizon over the Rann. The motorcycle blends artistic storytelling with practical enhancements, making it both culturally expressive and adventure-ready. Through this showcase at Rann Utsav 2026, TVS reinforces its commitment to blending motorcycling with Indian art and heritage.

While these motorcycles are not slated for commercial production, they serve as a bold statement of design innovation and cultural integration within the Indian two-wheeler industry.
