TVS Teases M1-S Electric Maxi-Scooter Ahead of EICMA 2025

TVS Motor Company is gearing up for a grand showcase at EICMA 2025, with the M1-S electric maxi-scooter generating significant excitement among enthusiasts. The new M1-S has been developed in collaboration with ION Mobility, a Singapore-based electric mobility startup, combining advanced technology and innovative design. At its core, the TVS M1-S is powered by a robust 12.5kW electric motor and a 4.3kWh battery pack, enabling it to deliver an impressive 16.76bhp and 45Nm of torque. The scooter claims a brisk 0-50kmph sprint in just 3.7 seconds, a top speed of 105kmph, and a practical range of 150km on a single charge, setting new benchmarks in the electric maxi-scooter segment.

On the design front, the M1-S sports an aggressive and aerodynamic fascia with twin LED headlamps, eyebrow-style DRLs, and integrated turn indicators. The functional layout includes a flat floorboard, a single-piece seat, and a sleek grab rail, giving the scooter a sporty yet user-friendly appeal. Technology features are another standout, with a seven-inch TFT display offering smartphone connectivity, music control, navigation, and call/SMS alerts. The smart key system enhances everyday convenience, making the M1-S a premium proposition in its class.

While TVS has yet to confirm an India launch, the brand’s growing EV focus hints at a potential domestic arrival following its debut in Indonesia. With the M1-S, TVS is set to reaffirm its commitment to advanced and stylish electric mobility.
